To achieve an Award, participants must set goals and complete activities across four core sections. Gold participants also complete a Residential Project.
Giving back to the community. Participants volunteer their time to help others, learning empathy, social responsibility, and the value of service.
Breaking a sweat and improving fitness. This section encourages healthy lifestyles, discipline, and personal physical improvement.
Broadening personal interests. Participants learn a new practical or social skill, building confidence and discovering new talents.
Taking on the great outdoors. Planning, training for, and completing a demanding journey in an unfamiliar environment as part of a team.
